We, 20 of us,are coming to WDW during Thanksgiving 2011. Originally, for a family reunion, we recently lost my oldest sister unexpectedly. We were going to cancel, but decided, to continue trip to Celebrate her life. Is there anything special to celebrate l

    Hi Terry!
My sincere condolences to you and your family. I think it shows great family strength to turn such a tragedy into a celebration of life!
One thing that comes to mind is having the family do all of your sister's favorite attractions together. You could also try to get a group photo with her favorite character(s) and leave a spot in the photo for her, and maybe dine at some of her favorite spots. The end game here is that the timing of the trip, being Thanksgiving, can also allow everyone to count the blessings that each of us has in our lives. Even with tragedy, there is hope, love, and family.
I wish you all a memorable, Magical time as you celebrate not only your sister, but each other!! :)
