Greetings, Andrew. Thanks for taking the time to drop by planDisney! I love hearing from fellow Californians.
I’m sorry to hear that you had to cancel your trip to
Disneyland Resort. Like you, I too had to cancel our family’s plan to celebrate at the Happiest Place on Earth in 2020 when my daughter graduated from high school. An upcoming Girls Trip to celebrate my sister’s engagement is also in limbo.
As I’m sure you’re aware, there is still no definite date for Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels to reopen. On a brighter note, I am happy to report that
Downtown Disney District is currently open and extended to include
Buena Vista Street in
Disney California Adventure park, though I understand it just doesn’t quite compare to being inside the theme parks riding immersive attractions and strolling down Main Street USA.
Andrew, I sincerely hope that Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels will open someday soon for everyone to enjoy the magic. Stay tuned to latest updates and official news on
Disney Parks Blog and
Disneyland.com. Once a reopening date is announced for the theme parks, there should be information regarding hotels and when reservations will be available for Guests to book.
We are always all EARS here at planDisney. Andrew, please swing by again with your questions so that we can help you plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth when local government and health officials give the green light to reopen.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
