5 of us are spending one day at Magic Kingdom in early March and want to maximize our time. Fantasy land first and save FP for other rides or vice versa? What do you recommend?

    Hi there Sharon!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  It's always great to hEAR from a fellow Georgian. With so much to see and do, you are very wise to want to maximize your time at Magic Kingdom Park.  As a mom of four children, I have experimented with several strategies to minimize our amount of walking while also maximizing our time at the iconic park.

Based on my own personal experience, I recommend arriving prior to park opening and then heading straight to Fantasyland first. I also suggest experiencing Peter Pan's Flight as your first attraction that day as the wait can get very lengthy for this popular attraction.  By arriving at park opening, you should be able to experience many of the most popular attractions with little to no wait.  My strategy is to tour the park by "lands" starting with Fantasyland, then Tomorrowland and so on. With the exception of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, I would save my FastPass+ selections for attractions in other areas of the park such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Splash Mountain. I prefer to utilize my 3 initial FastPass+ experiences starting around 11:00 a.m. when the park tends to become more crowded.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Sharon!

    Happy Planning,
