Does a US permanent resident need visa to travel on Disney cruise ship to Bahamas?

    Hi Subhadra,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

The answer to your question regarding Travel Documentation depends on whether you’ll be on a Round Trip (that is, departing from a United States port and returning to that same port) or whether you’ll be on a One-Way Cruise. Because most Bahamian cruises are Round Trip ones, let’s assume that’s the sailing you’ll be taking. In that case, from what I understand, US Legal Permanent Residents must present a valid original Permanent Resident Card in order to board.

That said, there may be visa requirements for the Bahamas for you based on your nationality, so you may still need one to travel. If you have any specific questions about your case, I would encourage you to email or call Disney Cruise Line for more information. They should be able to answer questions regarding your specific case and travel documentation.

I hope my answer helps you travel with ease! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
