Hi Thomas, welcome to planDisney!
Big parties have big fun at Walt Disney World Resort during the
50th Anniversary Celebration. There are even some attractions with no height restriction that allow for everyone to be seated in the same ride vehicle. These attractions include Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom park, Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. Tell Donald I said, "hi!"
For all Guests over the age of three, valid admission, a
theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, admission card, or MagicMobile pass) are currently required for theme park entry. I understand that everyone's tickets are currently linked to one person's
My Disney Experience account, Thomas. As part of the ticket
linking process, Guests are required to assign tickets to members of their
Family and Friends list. If they don't find who they're looking for, there's also the option to "Add a Guest." Adding a Guest means a new My Disney Experience profile for that person is created and managed by the main account holder. This is the only option for Guests under 13, who are too young to have their own My Disney Experience accounts, as well as individuals that do not have their own accounts. I currently manage plans for my children as well as my parents.
If a new My Disney Experience profile was created for a Guest that has their own My Disney Experience account, like you, follow these steps to merge the two online:
1. The Guest with the tickets on their account should click "Update" next to your name in their
Family and Friends list.
2. They should then click "Share Planning With Thomas," which appears in the top right of the "Update Thomas's Information" box.
3. They should next enter the email address associated with your My Disney Experience account and click "Continue."
Once these steps are complete, you will receive an email from Disney Destinations with an invitation to connect. Click the green "Accept" button in the email and all plans created for you on the managed account, including your ticket, will automagically transfer to your account. The two account holders will remain connected as Family and Friends, which means you can still view and make plans for each other. Similar steps can also be completed in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> scroll down to "My Profile" --> click the "Family and Friends List" tab --> select a name --> "Send Email"). Repeat the steps as needed for other members of your party.
If all 18 tickets were initially linked to the same person on the same account, that person can
reassign individual tickets by selecting a name from their Family and Friends list that appears on the "Reassign Ticket" dropdown menu to the right of most wholly unused tickets. To reiterate, you must first make sure all 18 of you are connected as
Family and Friends.
Thanks for inviting planDisney to be part of your planning team, Thomas. You know where to find us if you have any other questions before, during, or after your trip.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
