There are 7 of us going next May and one of the days we were wanting to split up girls/guys-all adults for a day. The guys are going fishing but we're at a loss for what the girls can do. Cant afford the spa,we're not shoppers, and something besides tours.

    Hi Amber,

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel, and with such a great question! Since the spa, shopping and Walt Disney tours are off the list for your girls' day out at Walt Disney World, there are a few other suggestions that I immediately thought of when reading your question.

A girls day at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney would be the perfect fit for your budget and sense of adventure. The food, live music and fun ambiance is a great backdrop to a fun days with the girls. Get your food and cocktails delivered right to your lane, while you bowl, and you're sure to have a blast.

If you are looking to do something within the Walt Disney World parks, may I suggest a "snacking around the world" adventure in Epcot? As a frugal traveler myself, I've found that having a mini-vacation at Epcot through the food has always been a great bargain. Where else can you go around the world and snack on all of their delicacies? This would be an excellent girls day activity since you all can share snacks at the pavilions of your choice. Be sure to save room for macarons from Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie, paired with a Cafe au lait. Sharing a box of those delicious cookies for a little over 10 dollars is a great way to bond over treats.

I hope this helps you with your magical vacation planning, Amber. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
