Hello Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I organized several
Advanced Dining Reservations on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation my family took with friends that required seating for 8 Guests.
When I made the Advanced Dining Reservations, I painstakingly lined every Guest in our party to each Reservation listed under
My Disney Experience. This was not necessary. When I spoke with a Cast Member at one of our Dining Experiences, she mentioned that the Dining Locations are more concerned about number of Guests and not the specific details of each Guest in attendance.
As long as you are the lead Guest on the Advanced Dining Reservations when you book through My Disney Experience or on the Walt Disney World Resort site and you are attending the Dining Experience, you should have no problem getting your reserved table.
In the event that you are not attending a particular Advanced Dining Reservation, it may be a good idea to link one of the attending Guests to the Reservation just to be sure.
Be sure to look into the
Terms and Conditions for your dining experiences sent through your email upon confirmation in the instance that you require to cancel any Advanced Dining Reservations to avoid any "no-show" fees. In addition, there is an
automatic 18% gratuity added to any party of 6 Guests or more at all Table Service Dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort.
Bon Appétit!
