Ahoy Lori!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So thrilled to hear you have a cruise on the horizon. Captain Mickey and his crew will be ready to welcome Guests like you and your family...I can only imagine how amazing those
Sail-a-Wave and
Sailing Away Deck Parties will be across the Disney fleet!
Good on ya for booking a placeholder on your last sailing! Instead of saying “goodbye,” you got to say “See Ya Real Soon!” Guests are usually very eager to
book their next adventure at sea with Captain Mickey before disembarking. As you know, a placeholder holds your spot on a future Disney Cruise Line vacation without having to commit to a specific date. In my opinion, this is the best cure-all for having to leave the ship (even though we still always take photos of us clinging to the statue in the Lobby Atrium and not letting go!)
Yes, you absolutely can use that placeholder for your party of five as long as you all plan on sharing the same
stateroom. If you need more than one stateroom, then you would have needed to book placeholders for two staterooms on your last cruise. Once you all decide on a cruise date,
contact Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent to secure your reservation.
One thing to keep in mind: you MUST set sail within 24 months of booking the placeholder. When you select a date, your placeholder fee is applied to that reservation, and you'll be responsible for paying the remaining deposit at that time.
Thanks for stopping by to SEA us! If you have any other questions about your future cruise with Disney Cruise Line, please let us know.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
