There are 3 of us - my husband, my self & our 16 month old, can you please let me know if the 3 of us will be able to ride in the same 'car' on the following rides: Dumbo, Buzz light year, Haunted Mansion, Alladin, winnie the pooh, peter pan, under t

    Hi Penelope,

You're going to have a great time taking your little one to Walt Disney World. True, he may not remember the trip, but you'll remember that look of wonder in his eyes, and you'll get some great photos.

You'll definitely be able to sit in the same ride vehicle on all of those attractions, except for maybe Dumbo. That's the smallest vehicle. I know one adult and 2 children can fit comfortably. I imagine that the three of you can fit, but it might be a little snug.

A couple of warnings or things to note, your little one may find Haunted Mansion a bit scary at this age. Also, on Winnie the Pooh and Magic Carpets of Aladdin, you'll most likely sit in different rows of the same vehicle. Buzz Lightyear will fit all of you, but there are only two joysticks on the arcade style attraction. I don't think your little one will care at 16 months. He'll be happy to simply ride along.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
