There are 3 of us heading to Orlando for Wine and Dine weekend! I am trying to make dining reservations for our full stay but I am only able to make it for the first part. We are switching resorts mid way through the week. Is this why?

    Hi Brenda,

Welcome back to planDisney! I hope training for the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend is going well! Did you know that there are training programs for every runDisney race distance available on runDisney.com? I’m following one as I also prepare to participate in Wine and Dine Weekend.

You are correct that your ability to make your advance dining reservations corresponds with your Disney Resort hotel check-in dates. Disney Resort hotel guests can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance for the length of stay, for up to a 10-day stay. Since you have a “split stay,” you can make dining reservations for the length of your first Disney Resort hotel stay, then 60 days in advance of your second Disney Resort hotel check-in you can make the remaining dining reservations.

Do you plan on wearing a costume for your runDisney event, Brenda? runDisney recently updated its costume policies, so you’ll want to make sure your costume meets the guidelines to avoid any race day surprises. As race weekend gets closer, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for race weekend merchandise and participant shirt reveals! They shared images of the 2023 Wine and Dine finisher medals earlier this summer.

I hope this was helpful, Brenda! If you have any other questions as your visit gets closer, Walt Disney World or runDisney-related, I’ll be here for you at planDisney!

    Wishing you many magical miles,
    Kaitlin
