Hi, 1 of us has 3 dietary restrictions so I’m looking for the best restaurants to provide gluten free, dairy free & soya free options for our 14 day stay. We want to book TS 60 days so don't want to wait 14 days prior as advised by Special Diets

Hi, Kirsten and welcome to planDisney! Food is one of my favorite subjects and one of the best parts of any vacation, so I'm really glad you brought this question. A 14-day trip sounds like a dream, and you are right to book your dining 60 days in advance for the best chance at securing the reservations you want. Let's dig in!

Planning for food when you also have allergies to consider can feel tricky, yet allow me to assure you, you'll have plenty of safe options. What I like to do when traveling with people who have special diets is pick out our restaurant priorities and then look at each menu to make sure there are options everyone will enjoy. Many table-service and quick-service locations have an allergy-friendly section within their menus published online detailing the specific allergens each menu item is free from. This is a great place to start forming your plan.

Once you arrive at the restaurant, speak with your server to discuss your needs, and ask for a menu with allergen information. When you receive your order, look for the special marker indicating the item has been specially prepared for dietary needs. I also recommend double-checking with your server one final time that the item is free from your specific allergens.

Kirsten, I'm not sure if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, but if you are, you'll be able to make dining reservations for the first 10 days of your trip 60 days in advance of your check-in date. This can come in really handy when trying to score reservations that are more difficult to snag. What I like to do is prioritize these first and reserve them as late in the trip as I can to give myself the best chance at success.

I hope you have a delicious time and that you'll bring any other questions you have back to planDisney.

    Have a magical trip!
