    Can I UPS my own items to my hotel prior to getting there?

    Hi Ken! Many times I have shipped ahead to my resort when traveling to Walt Disney World. This was especially helpful when traveling with young infants and children who needed a supply of diapers, formula, and other items.

    It is important you do not ship more then about a week in advance to avoid the boxes from getting "lost" and put aside. Have the boxes addressed to the name your reservation is in followed by your check-in date. Then the name of the resort and address which can be found on the Disney website under each resort description.

    When you check-in let the cast member know you have a box(s) that should be waiting for you and they will check in the back. Usually they will let the bell staff bring them up for you making it an easy way to get extra things to your vacation destination.

    Obviously there is not a guarantee when shipping things through third parties as far as everything reaching destinations in a timely manner. Check with your local UPS representative about how long it will take and perhaps consider extra insurance for the box.
