Upon arrival at your Disney world resort, do they still offer a free Disney key card?

    Welcome to planDisney, Danielle!

Great question! Yes, you can absolutely get a Key to the World card at your Disney Resort Hotel, but it's not given out automatically. Since so much can now be done through the My Disney Experience app or with a MagicBand, many guests opt to go fully digital during their stay. That said, if you'd prefer to have a physical card for convenience, as a backup, or as a fun souvenir, just swing by the front desk of your Resort Hotel when you arrive and let a Cast Member know you'd like one. They'll be happy to set you up with a complimentary Key to the World Card.

This card will work as your resort room key, your park ticket, and it can even be used for charging purchases back to your room, just like a MagicBand! If you've got the Disney Dining Plan, it will also connect to that. Basically, it does all the same things, just in a classic card format. Whether you're team MagicBand, team MagicMobile, or team Key to the World Card, Disney's got you covered!

I hope this answers your question, Danielle, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
