MagicBands are linked to individuals' My Disney Experience accounts or account profiles. They are nontransferable once linked, which is why you are currently unable to reassign the mislinked MagicBand to the correct person in your party. I recommend reaching out to a Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ number, (407) 939-4357. Cast Members are the heart of Disney magic and are best equipped to lay eyes on your specific situation and offer suggestions. Cast Members can also be reached via live chat on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. Look for a box with the chat icon on the right between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST. A Cast Member recently helped me reassign a MagicBand to a My Disney Experience account profile that had accidentally been deleted. Everyone makes mistakes and the Cast Member was very kind and helpful.
MagicBands are a convenient method of entry that allow Guests to tap into magic at theme park entry, Lightning Lane entrances, and with Disney PhotoPass photographers. MagicBand+ designs also offer an immersive experience during nighttime spectaculars.
MagicBand+ must be paired with a mobile device and charged before use.
