Hi there Farzana, and welcome to
planDisney!
It sounds like you're planning an incredible visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I can't wait for you to experience the majesty of the
50th-anniversary celebration. From
new attractions to
dazzling nighttime spectaculars, there's something exciting around every corner!
I'm glad to hear you've already
verified your Florida residency online. My parents live part-time in the Sunshine State and they love to take advantage of ticket offers and hotel rates especially for Mickey Mouses's closest neighbors. My mom purchases tickets through her
My Disney Experience account, which is associated with her verified Florida address. If she also buys tickets for my dad and my children, their tickets still need to be activated before using them at the turnstiles, and you'll need to do the same with other members of your party.
All Guests 18 years of age or older using a Florida Resident ticket need to show proof of residency to activate their tickets. This can be done at a ticket window or Guest Relations at the entrance to any theme park, the Transportation & Ticket Center, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Ticket windows open about an hour before the official theme park opening, so it's fairly easy to do this on your way into a park on your first day. Check out this page for
a list of acceptable verification documents. My parents don't have Florida-issued photo IDs, so they presented a utility bill for proof of residency.
I hope this is helpful, Farzana. Thanks so much for bringing your question to us, and if there's anything else we can do before your Disney adventure begins, don't hesitate to reach out again. We're all ears!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
