Ahoy there, Barry. Thanks for sailing by planDisney again with another question for us.
I’m excited to see you’ll be sailing on a Disney cruise in less than 2 weeks and have done the online check-in process. You’re in the final stretch and your cruise will be here before you know it! I’m happily thinking of all the ice cream soft serve and Mickey waffles you’ll get to enjoy at sea.
Barry, rest assured that you will not need to show headshot photos you’ve uploaded during online check in. Instead, that is the photo crew members will see when you’re getting on and off the ship when they scan your Key to the World card (a.k.a. your stateroom keycard). You’ll just need to bring your
original passports as well as a copy of your Online Check-In Port Arrival Form.
Once you’re onboard, your Disney cruise vacation begins! Based on the sail date you provided, I believe you’ll either be traveling on the
Fantasy or
Magic. I know my fellow panelist Dustin shared some of his embarkation tips with you. Here's mine I’d like to share: Embarkation day can be overwhelming and our family always choose to do a more relaxing sit-down lunch to start our vacation. We get to sit and talk about all the fun activities we plan on doing. There is a main dining room that offers table service (usually until 2 PM, subject to change) on embarkation day. We were recently on the Fantasy and enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Animator’s Palette right after we boarded. It was nice not having to lug around all our carry-on bags and find a spot to sit by the buffet. Just another suggestion for you!
I hope this information helps clear up any confusion you may have. Please visit us on
planDisney again if you have more questions! We’re more than happy to help.
Bon voyage,
Kiki
