I will be upgrading my reservation to include the Disney Dining Plan and wondered if I can use 2 of my table service credits to pay for 2 family members meals who will be dining with us, they are staying at Disney, but are on a separate room reservation.

    Hello Amanda Jayne!

I'm so glad you stopped by with such a tasty question. It sounds like you're already dreaming about all the delicious options coming your way on your next Disney adventure. Most of our trips are planned around our favorite restaurants, so I certainly understand planning ahead.

Now, let’s talk Disney Dining Plan details. One important tidbit to know: meals and snacks are non-transferable, which means they’re just for the guests listed on your vacation package. So, while you can treat your crew to plenty of Mickey Ice Cream Bars, you won’t be able to use your dining credits for anyone outside your reservation

That said, all your dining credits are shared among your travel party, which provides some flexibility. If one person wants to scoop up three snacks at an EPCOT festival booth (no judgment here!), or one person handles everyone’s lunch order at a Quick-Service spot, that’s totally ok, as long as it’s for someone on your package.

I hope this helps as you prep for your magical mealtime adventures! If more questions pop up, come on back to PlanDisney - we love to help!

    Bon appétit and happy planning!
