Will upgrading my 3Day SoCalTicket for a MagicKey on the last day (after entering the park) grant me credit for those 3 days applied towards the Magic Key? Or would I still pay fullprice for the key?

Hi Martin! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

The SoCal Ticket Offer gives Guests in eligible ZIP Codes more time in the parks at a fantastic price. A great way to extend the fun is to upgrade that offer to an available Magic Key. Magic Keys not only give you more access to the parks but also come with perks and discounts, which I really appreciate as a Magic Key holder. Especially that dining discount! With some exceptions, it is possible to upgrade most valid wholly unused or partially used tickets. That includes the current SoCal Ticket Offer. I hope that's good news!

You can upgrade your SoCal Ticket Offer to an available Magic Key even if you haven't yet visited the parks. If you haven't yet used a day on the tickets, visit the main ticket booths to upgrade. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you with the transaction. If the tickets are partially used, however, be sure to complete the upgrade on or prior to the last day of use. The upgrade process on a partially used ticket is easy: Simply access the ticket on your Disneyland mobile app and look for the link to upgrade.

With upgrades, you're paying the difference between the price for the original ticket and the Magic Key of your choice. The Magic Key will be backdated to the first day of use on the original tickets, and you'll need to make new theme park reservations for the Magic Key, as any of the old ones associated with the SoCal Offer won't carry over. The availability of theme park reservations isn't guaranteed. With an upgrade, you pay the difference in full at the time of the transaction. Credit, debit, and Disney Gift Cards are all great ways to pay for the Magic Key. Prices and terms are subject to change, so be sure you've read through them carefully. You need to find the Magic Key that's the right fit for your needs, including important differences like Blockout dates.

The sale of Magic Keys may be paused at any time. So, be sure to upgrade yours as soon as possible!

    Have a magical day.
