Upgraded to POFQ from ASMu is the rooms bigger good choice or should i have chosen a different resort? 2 grandmas taking their Grdaughters. We are in 40s; they are 7. Will they still feel they are Disney with it being so laid back? we will have a ecv.

I think your choice is perfect!

Port Orleans French Quarter is a charming resort. Part of its charm is due to its quaint size. It's not overwhelmingly large as other moderate resorts, however it offers wonderful amenities. The pool is geared to younger children due to the smaller slide and your granddaughters will have a lot of fun. There's a playground where the girls can run off some energy while the grandmas relax on a nearby bench.

You'll absolutely feel like you are in Walt Disney World. This resort is so much fun. Take the Sassagoula Riverboat at least once to Downtown Disney.

The rooms are bigger! They are 314 sq feet and were recently refurbished with queen beds. In addition, you'll enjoy all new tile work, carpets, furniture, flat screen TVs, etc.

I'm delighted with your choice and I think you will be too! Enjoy a wonderful vacation in Walt Disney World!
