Can we upgrade tickets on site? For example: enter the Hollywood Studios in the morning with a one day single park ticket and decide to go to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon?

Hi Kim! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You will be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a couple of days and I'm thrilled for you! With plans to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'm sure you are excited about exploring Andy's Backyard in the all-new Toy Story Land. The attention to detail there is incredible!

You'll be happy to know that you can upgrade your Walt Disney World base ticket (one park per day) to a Park Hopper ticket (multiple parks per day) when you are at the theme parks. My family has done this before and it was a very easy experience! We decided to "park hop" from Disney's Animal Kingdom to Epcot. Once we arrived at Epcot, we went straight to Guest Relations and asked to upgrade our ticket to the Park Hopper. The upgrade only took a few minutes and we were entering our second theme park of the day in no time at all!

To upgrade your ticket, visit any Guest Relations, theme park ticket window, or Lobby Concierge of Disney Resort hotels (if you are staying on Walt Disney World Resort property). You will simply pay the difference in the upgraded ticket amount. Once you have your Park Hopper ticket, you can visit any of the four theme parks that same day!

I hope you have a wonderful trip, Kim! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
