Hi, Andrew! Welcome to planDisney!
Hot dog! You'll be on your way to the Walt Disney World Resort this weekend! Can you believe it? I'm sure your family has been counting down the days, and now your magical vacation is almost here. Let's help you make the most of every minute!
I absolutely can't blame you for thinking of adding the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets. It's a lot of fun to spend the morning, say,
battling the First Order at Disney's Hollywood Studios, then taking
a wild ride through the wilderness at the Magic Kingdom Park! You can upgrade your tickets online or in person at any time, as long as you still have at least one day of admission remaining on them. But my advice is to go ahead and upgrade before you go, because you can't add the Park Hopper Option to only one day. You'll be paying the same price whether you purchase the upgrade now or on the last day of your vacation, so you might as well do it early and get the maximum use out of it. That way, you can park hop every day if you like!
And don't forget, you need to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation only for the first theme park you plan to visit each day. If you'll be hopping to a second (or third...or fourth...) park on the same day, you won't need to make reservations for any subsequent parks.
There are currently two nighttime spectaculars happening nightly at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can catch
Happily Ever After each night at 9:15 p.m. in the Magic Kingdom Park, while
EPCOT Forever lights up the skies over EPCOT at 10 p.m. Both shows will be ending in late September of this year to make way for exciting new offerings in conjunction with
The World's Most Magical Celebration starting October 1.
I hope this helps you have an amazing vacation at Walt Disney World, Andrew! Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
