As you make your plans for all your Walt Disney World Resort theme park magic, it's helpful to know that the FASTPASS and FastPass+ services were retired and replaced by the new
Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ services. The new Disney Genie service offers Guests a mobile phone app experience to receive a personalized itinerary to help make the most of a theme park day. With the
new options for Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrances and Individual Lightning Lane Entrances, Guests can purchase attraction return times and spend less time waiting in regular standby lines for attractions.
You can add the Disney Genie+ service to your theme park tickets through your
My Disney Experience account online and through your
My Disney Experience mobile app.
In your My Disney Experience account online, you can use the
"My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" feature and the "Tickets & Memory" tab to find your theme park tickets. You can then use the "Change Ticket" feature to add Disney Genie+ to your tickets. In your My Disney Experience mobile app, you can tap the main menu (the 3 stacked lines in the lower right corner of the app) and then tap "Tickets and Passes" to select your tickets and use the "Change Ticket" feature to add Disney Genie+ to your tickets.
