How can I upgrade my ticket to a higher tier after I purchased it?

    Hi Scott, welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for bringing your question to us!

The Disneyland Resort uses a ticketing tier system for standard one-day theme park tickets. This means the price of the theme park ticket will vary depending on the theme park reservation date that you select. You can certainly upgrade your ticket to a higher tier ticket after purchasing. The best way to do this is by visiting the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths, and the amazing Cast Members there can help you out! Another option would be to try calling the Disneyland Resort Ticket Line at 714-781-4636 and see if the Cast Members there can help!

Also, once you're ready to purchase your tickets, you'll be given an option to purchase the Disney Genie+ service add-on during your ticket purchasing process. Genie+ allows you to skip the standby lines for most attractions and use the Lightning Lane entrances. This typically results in time savings, and I personally am a huge fan of Genie+! You also get unlimited Disney PhotoPass Digital Downloads which is a great bonus!

Hope this helped, but if you have more questions, please visit us again!

    See ya real soon!
