How can I upgrade a ticket I bought for my mom from tier 1 to tier 2?

A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you, Heidi. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us. Your magical adventure is just around the corner and I'm thrilled to help you get settled with your tickets.

Great news, you can upgrade your wholly unused 1-day theme park ticket to a higher tier and it's as easy as saying, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." The value of the wholly unused ticket can be applied toward the purchase of a new higher-tier ticket as long as the new ticket purchase price is greater than or equal to the amount paid for the original ticket. I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member at the Tickets phone line for assistance.

There are so many wonderful things happening at the Disneyland Resort right now. Pixar Fest kicked off this weekend and there's so much fun to experience. I just returned from a visit and really enjoyed all of the festive eats and treats. To really enjoy the festivities, I say mobile order a treat from the Disneyland app and enjoy it while watching the parade, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! It was so fun seeing so many beloved Pixar characters and the music is so catchy and fun, I'm still humming it at home.

Heidi, I hope this is helpful and that you are able to get your mom's ticket upgraded and squared away quickly. You two are going to have so much fun. Here's wishing you the best Disney day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
