    Can I upgrade my ticket for an annual pass?

    Hi Karin!

    I'm happy to hear you have a ticket for an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! In the past, Guests with unused, unexpired valid tickets could apply the ticket cost towards an upgrade to an Annual Pass. At this time, the sale of Walt Disney World Annual Passes has been suspended as part of the phased reopening process. So far, there have been no announcements about when or if the sale of Annual Passes might resume, but my fingers are crossed that a decision will be made soon!

    I've enjoyed the benefits of being an Annual Passholder through the years, and always recommend getting one if it makes financial sense to do so! I hope that Guests will soon have the opportunity to purchase them again. The latest news about Annual Pass availability can be found on the Passholder Program page of the Walt Disney World website. I also encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Walt Disney World Resort on Facebook and Twitter for any updates.
