Welcome to planDisney, Alejandro. I'm just tickled to hear that you're thinking about turning your 4-day visit into a full year of magic. Woohoo! Let's talk about how you can unlock the magic and become a
Magic Key holder.
First, thank you for your service and sacrifice. I'm so glad to hear that you will be taking advantage of the 4-Day
Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket. I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that you should be able to
upgrade your ticket to a Magic Key pass on the last day of your visit. You might even be able to do this in the
Disneyland app. If you haven't already, be sure to link your ticket in the app by tapping the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile and then the "+" in the upper right corner. Finally, tap "Link Tickets & Passes." From here, you can manually enter the ticket ID number or use the camera to scan your ticket's barcode.
Once you've added your ticket in the app, head back to the "My Tickets & Passes" screen and see if there's a button to upgrade your ticket to a Magic Key pass. You must upgrade your ticket before midnight on the last day of your visit. When upgrading, I recommend doing it on the last night of your visit and after you've entered or exited the park for the last time. This is because once you upgrade to a Magic Key pass, your reservation from your purchased ticket will be cancelled and you will need to make a Magic Key reservation to re-enter the parks. If you don't see a button to upgrade your pass, you can visit the ticket booth located just to the left of the Disneyland Park entrance (when facing the entrance gates). Again, just keep Cinderella in mind and make sure you complete all of this before midnight.
