Welcome to planDisney, Sally, thank you for stopping by with your question about dining plans!
I'm a big fan of the
Disney Dining Plans; my family loved sampling all of the Mickey-shaped snacks on our last trip! As a family of sports fans, we stayed at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, and loved being immersed in the Disney magic from the moment we arrived. We booked the Quick-Service Meal package and also travelled from the UK, so I can bring you a little insight into what this includes.
If you booked the Free Dining and Drinks offer and chose to stay at a
Value Resort Hotel, you will receive 1 Quick-Service Meal and 1 Non-Alcoholic/Alcoholic Drink per meal, per person, per night of your stay. This is a little different from the
Quick-Service Dining Plan, which you are interested in upgrading to.
The Quick-Service Dining Plan adds even more magic for your money and plenty of flexibility. This will give you 2 Quick-Service Meals, 1 non-alcoholic/alcoholic drink per meal, and 1 snack per person, per night, and the Resort Refillable Mug. So whether you decide to go with the Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Quick-Service Meal, I think you’ll find that the value and convenience add a sprinkle of pixie dust to your magical holiday!
I reached out to a helpful Cast Member, who advised that if you've booked your Walt Disney World package directly, you should be able to
phone and add on the Quick-Service Dining Plan to your current booking. There will be an additional charge to upgrade, which is currently £49.99 per adult, per night, but this price is subject to change. This will also need to be done in advance of your arrival.
If you booked your magical adventure through a third-party travel provider, please contact them directly to find out if you are able to upgrade your Disneylicious dining.
There are currently over
90 Quick-Service locations across the parks and resorts, and my family’s absolute favourites were
Crepes A Emporter in the World Showcase at EPCOT and
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Hollywood Studios. I simply must also give a special shout out to the Taco Trio at
La Cantina de San Angel in EPCOT, such a delicious dish. Followed by a ride on the
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, of course!
I could talk Disney dining all day long, Sally, so if you have any more questions, please
come back and see me anytime!
Sending faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Abi
