The great news about the Disney World annual passes is that you can upgrade to another pass at any time of the year. However, from one Passholder to another, I can tell you that it’s even easier to do when you’re within your renewal window. Let’s get into it!
Log in to your
My Disney Experience app and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Look for the “My Tickets and Passes” section. Click on it and you should see a selection under your digital pass that says “Renew Passes.” By clicking that, you will be given options to not only renew your pass, but you can upgrade it as well. Once you’ve made your new selection, you’ll see that you add on
Disney PhotoPass or the Water Parks and Sports options.
AN EXTRA GEM: The PhotoPass one is a must for my family and only one person in your party needs it! The price is great, especially when you consider that there are nearly 200 locations around property to use it. You can add this option, or the Water Parks one, at any time of the year as well but they expire when your pass expires regardless of when you tacked it on. For the best value, it’s better to add it right away if you’re interested.
Kerri, you have the option of calling a friendly Cast Member via the
V.I.PASSHOLDER Hotline. They can upgrade your pass over the phone. If you live close to the theme parks, you can upgrade your annual pass in person at any of the ticket windows or at the Disney Springs Disney Ticket Center.
