Greetings, Geanela, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you'll be going to the Oogie Boogie Bash soon – it's the perfect way to get in the spirit of the season. And, while it's great that you're interested in upgrading your ticket to a
Magic Key pass, I have a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer to share with you.
Special event tickets are ineligible to be upgraded to a Magic Key pass. So, while your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket will unlock a spectacular evening of Halloween fun at California Adventure, it can't be put towards the purchase of a Magic Key pass.
Standard theme park tickets can be upgraded, provided that the ticket is eligible and the upgrade is made by midnight on the last day the ticket is used. You can look through the eligibility information
on the Disneyland website.
With your
Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, Geanela, you'll be able to enter California Adventure as early as 3 p.m. on the day of the Halloween party. Enjoy an early dinner in the park so you can get right to the fun once the after-hours event officially kicks off at 6 p.m. Treat trails, rare Character appearances, special entertainment, and more will be waiting for you. Check out the

There is a lot more fun to discover at the Disneyland Resort during
Halloween Time, too. Check out all of the spooky seasonal decorations in Cars Land, and ride
Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark for the ultimate thrill! Over in Disneyland, there is Haunted Mansion Holiday, festive decorations throughout, special entertainment, and more. Just keep in mind that, to visit Disneyland, you'd need a theme park ticket and a park reservation.
Of course, one way to extend the magic is to get a Magic Key pass. At the time of writing this, the
Imagine Key (Southern California residents only) and the
Enchant Key are available. Having the opportunity to visit the Disneyland Resort throughout the year is like having an extra sprinkling of pixie dust! There are other benefits, too, such as discounts at select locations,
seasonal extras, exclusive merchandise, and more.
