Hi there, Meryntha!
Thanks so much for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are already considering adding some more magic to your stay by upgrading your Disneyland Resort theme park ticket to a
Park Hopper ticket.
With Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park only footsteps away from each other, park-hopping is a breeze. I often visit both parks multiple times throughout the day, because it is just so convenient. With the handy
Disneyland app, you can view Characters appearing in both parks, attraction wait times, and entertainment schedules so you don't miss out on any of your must-do activities. To upgrade a One Park Per Day ticket to a Park Hopper ticket, you will need to visit one of the Main Entrance ticket booths in the esplanade between both parks during your stay. Keep in mind that you will need to only pay the price difference between these two ticket types. It is the same price to upgrade your multi-day ticket on the first or the last day of use, so I always recommend upgrading as soon as possible to maximize your time.
If you add the Disney MaxPass feature to your Park Hopper tickets, you will have the added benefit of being able to make Disney FASTPASS selections right from your mobile device for either park interchangeably throughout the entire day. This means you can be waiting in line for Haunted Mansion in Disneyland Park while making a FASTPASS selection for Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure Park. How convenient is that?! This will definitely let you experience the most attractions while waiting in the least amount of lines.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
