Is there any way to upgrade just one day of park tickets to the park-hopper option? We're wanting to be in the parks for 3 days, but only need one day of park hopper.

Hello, Taylor! It's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney, where we are happier than Lumiere serving dinner to have you "be our guest!"

Taylor, I love that you're thinking about how to best maximize your time at the Walt Disney World Resort. One of the reasons that my family and I keep coming back year after year is that there is so much to see and do it's impossible to fit it all into one trip.

Now, tickets with the Park Hopper option are a great way to add a bit more pixie dust to your day, so let's talk about logistics. If you upgrade your standard tickets to the Park Hopper option, you must upgrade all days. Currently, there is no way to designate being able to hop on only one day of a ticket. The alternative would be to downgrade your 3-day ticket to a standard 2-day ticket and then add on a separate 1-day Park Hopper. However, I would encourage you to check pricing and compare before making that choice.

While likely not the information you were wishing to hear, I do hope it's helpful as you continue planning. Whether your agenda includes leisurely strolls through animal habitats over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, tackling thrill rides like TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park, or anything in between, I know you'll have an unforgettable time.

Please come on back to planDisney where... in the words of Lumiere... "why, we only live to serve!"
