If I upgrade my military salute ticket to an annual pass when does the annual pass date start? Will it start on the first date I used my military salute ticket, the date I upgrade to an annual pass or on the first date of use of the annual pass?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Toni! I am so excited to hEAR about your interest in an Annual Pass. I first bought mine  few years ago and was hesitant to spend my cash upfront, but it has rewarded me in dividends with Park Hopping, merchandise discounts, dining discounts and more.

If you have already used a few days of your Military ticket and you decide to upgrade to a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass, the AP activation day will be the first day that you used your military ticket, pre-upgrade. If you have NOT YET used your military ticket, you can upgrade it and the first day of use will be the activation date. I hope that is clear! Annual Passholders are sometimes muddled by the different rules that go along with these types of tickets, but once you are knee deep, you’re running with your discounts and making the most of it.

Don’t forget, you’ll be able to use the AP entrance line at all 4 main Theme Parks for you and your family. I grin as a walk to the special line with a very short wait. It’s magical to have such benefits! I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
