If I want to upgrade my Magic Key to a higher tier, I know I will have to pay the difference, but will I lose my reservations I've made with my lower tier Magic Key?

Welcome to planDisney, Deirdre! Here you will find a group of Disney vacation enthusiasts eager to help you experience the most magical vacation possible. I am so glad that you decided to stop by with your question, and it would be my pleasure to help you with an answer. It sounds like you are looking for even more magic by upgrading your Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass.

When upgrading from an eligible theme park ticket to a Magic Key Pass, Guests lose existing theme park reservations, making it necessary to book new theme park reservations. The same may occur when upgrading from one Magic Key Pass to another. I highly recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar so that you know in advance if there is theme park reservation availability before upgrading your Magic Key Pass.

I hope this information helps you to plan a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
