As a Magic Key passholder myself, I love answering questions about the
Magic Key Program! There are so many benefits and perks, and I am excited that you are considering upgrading your pass and your kiddo’s pass to the Inspire Key. With more available reservation dates, the ability to hold additional reservations at one time, and higher discounts at select retailers, it really is the option with the most pixie dusted perks!
As you noticed, the Inspire Key at
Disneyland Resort includes parking at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and Toy Story Parking Area. Unfortunately, there is no price adjustment or discount for parking for Passholders who are under driving age.
While I know your 12 year old will not be driving themselves to the parks just yet, there is still a great benefit here! If they are visiting with someone who does not have parking included on their ticket or pass, your kiddo can use their Magic Key in the
Disneyland Mobile App to receive the parking benefit. As long as they are physically present, that perk can be used, which is great for visiting with family and friends.
Reina, you can upgrade your passes directly in the Disneyland Mobile App. Just head to the “My Tickets and Passes” section and select “Upgrade Magic Key” under the barcode. One important thing to keep in mind is that you will pay the full difference between pass types, no matter how much time remains on your current pass.
