Hey there, hi there, ho there, Cindy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's always nice to see a fellow Floridian stop by to chat. Let's help you get even more out of your Disney days with your
Florida Resident Annual Pass!
I'm the proud owner of a Florida Resident Gold Annual Pass myself, and I do love that Passholder life. My Gold Annual Pass is perfect for the way my family spends our Theme Park time, but for even more magic, Platinum may be just the pass for you!
Upgrading your Annual Pass is super easy if you're within your renewal window, which is up to 60 days before and 30 days after your expiration date. All you need to do is go into your
My Disney Experience account and choose the Platinum level for your renewal. And, bonus! You'll still get your renewal discount on the new pass! You should see your exact renewal rate in your My Disney Experience account once you start the process.
If you want to upgrade before your renewal window is open, you can do that, too. You'll just need to visit a Guest Relations location at the Theme Parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and complete the upgrade in person. In that case, you'll pay the difference between your current Gold pass and the new Platinum one. A Cast Member can give you all your options and let you know exactly what your cost would be.
Cindy, now more than ever, it's a great time to be an Annual Passholder. There's
so much to do this year at Walt Disney World! Are you looking forward to exploring the galaxy far, far away when
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios? Maybe take flight aboard the
Disney Skyliner when it starts flying Guests high above Walt Disney World? I'm so excited for all of the Disney days you have in store with your Annual Pass.
I hope this helps you enjoy lots of Disney magic this year, Cindy. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
