Hiya, Debi! Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Florida resident and
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, I'm happy to help you get the most out of your Annual Pass. Let's take a look at your options, shall we?
It sounds like you have a Florida Resident Weekday Select Annual Pass, which was a great choice for people with flexible schedules who didn't mind skipping the theme parks on weekends and holidays. Since Disney introduced the new Annual Pass program earlier this year, the Weekday Select Annual Pass is no longer available. The closest equivalent to that pass is the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which also allows Guests to visit on weekdays, with blockouts during peak and holiday periods.
But if you need even more Disney in your life (and let's face it, who doesn't?), the only Annual Pass that now includes those glorious days between Christmas and New Year's is the
Disney Incredi-Pass. Upgrading from Weekday Select to the Disney Incredi-Pass depends on how close you are to the renewal period of your current pass. You're
eligible for renewal between 60 days before and 30 days after the expiration date of your pass. To upgrade during that window, you can hop into your
My Disney Experience account and begin the renewal process, then simply choose the pass you'd like to purchase. Your renewal then becomes an upgrade!
On the other hand, if you're still outside that renewal period, you'll need to visit Guest Relations at one of the theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and inquire about upgrading in person. A Cast Member will be happy to go over your options with you.
Debi, the holidays are almost here, and you still have lots of time to capture the spirit at the Walt Disney World Resort! I love spending
the most wonderful time of the year at The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I hope you have a chance to check it out, too!
Thank you so much for stopping by, Debi, and I wish you and yours a truly jolly holiday!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
