How do I upgrade my family’s annual pass?

Welcome to planDisney, Michael Roy! This has been a very exciting week to be a Disney Parks fan because all levels of Annual Passes have gone back on sale as of this morning. As a Florida Resident, you have the greatest amount of choice when it comes to selecting which level of Annual Pass you want to have, so let's chat about upgrading and the different ways you're able to do that.

As an existing Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you have the option to upgrade your Annual Pass into any available pass type outside of your renewal window on the website or via the My Disney Experience app. This is going to be the quickest and easiest way to upgrade! An "Upgrade Pass" button is now available in the ticketing section of My Disney Experience, and you can click on that to view your options. There is also the Manage Annual Passes page, where you can upgrade your pass or add the Disney PhotoPass and Water Parks and Sports Options to your existing passes.

There are two more avenues for you to choose from if you want to talk to someone about your options when upgrading your Annual Pass. You can call V.I.PASSHOLDER Support and speak to a Disney Cast Member over the phone or you can visit a ticketing booth at Walt Disney World Resort or Disney Springs and upgrade in person. When you upgrade, the price difference must be paid in full at the time of the upgrade, and the new pass will have the same expiration date as the original pass, so keep that in mind when you're deciding when to take the plunge!

Have a magical day, Michael Roy!
