Hi, How can I upgrade my 1 day theme park ticket to a 2 day theme park ticket?

    Welcome to planDisney, Hilda!

You've asked a great question--especially because two days of Walt Disney World theme park fun is twice as nice as one!

Guests can upgrade their Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets through several ways. First, you can find your ticket in your My Disney Experience app. Just open the app and select the hamburger icon in the bottom right (three lines on top of each other). On the next screen, click on My Tickets & Passes; at that point, your ticket should appear there. Scroll a bit below that and you should see the option to Upgrade Pass. Easy peasy!

I am also a fan of the good old fashioned phone call to a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Help Center. Use the number for Tickets and Hotel Reservations, and the super helpful folks there will have you upgraded in no time.

Of course, you can head to Guest Relations prior to entering a park and ask a Cast Member there to upgrade your ticket from 1 day to 2 days. These counters are located just outside all four theme parks, both water parks, Disney Springs, and ESPN Wide World of Sports. Folks there have been so very helpful every time I've visited. They'll take great care of you, too!

In all cases, Hilda, it's important to upgrade your 1 day ticket before entering a park that day. WDW ticket upgrades are a magical thing, but they can only happen if there is at least one unused day remaining on the ticket you are trying to upgrade.

As you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
