From your question, it sounds like you're gearing up for a trip to
the Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting! James, I love having the Park Hopper option and the freedom it allows to soak up even more pixie dust,
enjoy dinner in a new location, or catch a nighttime show in a different park.
Now, I'm happy to share that you are welcome to upgrade your ticket and use the
Park Hopper option on the same day. However, please keep in mind a few things, especially if you are traveling during the holiday season:
- First, (while we all hope this doesn't happen) if a park reaches capacity, Park Hopping to that destination will be unavailable (even if you have a Park Hopper ticket). Make sure to have the notifications turned on in your My Disney Experience Mobile Alert so you don't miss a message.
- Second, (currently) park hopping becomes available at 2:00 PM. If you would like to visit another park in the afternoon, I would encourage you to visit a Guest Relations location by 1:00 PM to upgrade your ticket. You can find Guest Relations booths in the map section of your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Begin by clicking on the pin icon at the bottom of the screen. You can then filter by "Guest Services."
