Can we upgrade a 1 day/1 park ticket to a 1 day Parkhopper? Can we do it on the phone or do we have to do it in person at the ticket booths?

    Hi Christine,

Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney, we are happy you stopped by with your question!  It looks like you are planning a visit to Disneyland Resort, I bet you are just as excited as I am to head back to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Guests are able to upgrade their One Park Per Day Theme Park Ticket to include the Park Hopper Option at any one of the Disneyland Main Entrance Ticket Booth or Guest Relations.  Once you arrive at Disneyland Resort, simply ask a Cast Member if there is still availability to add the Park Hopper Option to your existing Theme Park Tickets and they will add the Park Hopper Option if available.  If you would like to keep an eye on Theme Park Availability prior to your visit, I suggest checking the Theme Park Availability Calendar, it has the most up to date information regarding Theme Park Ticket and Park Hopper Reservation Availability.  If you would like to speak with a Cast Member regarding your Theme Park Tickets, I recommend calling Ticket Services and a Cast Member will be able to give real time advice regarding your best options.

If you haven't already purchased your Theme Park Tickets, I recommend adding the Park Hopper Option at the time of purchase.  This way you will be guaranteed a Theme Park Reservation including the Park Hopper Option, at the time of your purchase.

I hope you have a magical time at Disneyland Resort, Christine.  Please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions you may have, we are here to help.
