Yes. The
Summer 2023 California Resident Ticket is upgradeable. As long as the new
theme park ticket or
Magic Key pass type is of equal or greater value, you may do so. The easiest way to upgrade a theme park ticket is to visit one of the main entrance ticket booths at the Disneyland Resort. You may reach out to a Cast Member via chat or the
Tickets phone line if you would like to learn more. When deciding to upgrade a theme park ticket, you will want to make sure that
theme park reservations are still
available for the dates you wish to visit with the new park admission.
Speaking as an out-of-state visitor to the Disneyland Resort, I can tell you the California Resident Ticket is a marvelous deal. A wonderful feature of the offer is that the three visits to the theme parks don’t need to be on consecutive days. You can book park reservations for any three available dates now through September 28, 2023. If necessary, it is also possible to
modify a reservation to another day, subject to reservation availability at that time. It’s sort of like having a short-term
Magic Key pass!
