If I were to upgrade my current pass would I be able to still make monthly payments or would I have to pay the full pass price difference at the time of upgrade?

Hiya Kayla and welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you're here to ask us this question and I'm delighted to help.

I'm so glad to hear that you are a Magic Key holder and hope that you've been enjoying your year of magic thus far. I'm even happier to hear that you're interested in adding even more magic and upgrading your Magic Key pass. According to the Magic Key Buying Guide, you can upgrade your current pass to a higher level as long as the pass is available for sale. You can complete your upgrade in person at a Disneyland Resort ticket booth and the difference in purchase price between the two passes must be paid in full at the time of upgrade. The expiration date of your current pass will not change with your upgrade.

I really enjoy being a Magic Key holder and all the perks that come with being one. If you aren't already, be sure to follow @disneylandmagickey on Instagram to stay updated on the latest news and offerings. I most recently used my perks to purchase the Sip and Savor Pass at a special price for Magic Key holders at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. It was a delicious decision and I was able to sample all the eats and treats from my must-try list.

Kayla, I hope this information is helpful and gets you one step closer to upgrading your Magic Key pass. Here's to unlocking even more magic at the Happiest Place on Earth!
