Can I upgrade a child ticket on my reservation to an adult ticket?

Hi there Suzanna and welcome to planDisney!

Whether you accidentally purchased a child ticket instead of an adult ticket, or a Guest on your theme park reservation changed, Hakuna Matata! You can easily modify the ticket, and you'll be flying off to Never Land in no time.

To upgrade your tickets so they can be used by the young at heart, you'll want to call the Disneyland ticket help desk at (714) 781-4636, and a friendly Cast Member will assist you. Once your tickets are in order, be sure to secure theme park reservations if you haven't already.

Because there's so much to zip-a-dee-do at both theme parks these days, consider adding the Park Hopper option while you're on the phone. With this upgrade, you're able to hop to another theme park without reservations after 1:00 PM. Since you'll be visiting just a couple of days before the official opening of the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park, I suggest stopping by to see if any of our favorite superheroes are hanging around a few days early. You never know!

With so many Guests anxious to return to a land of magic, you may experience longer than usual hold times, so I recommend browsing the Disney Parks Blog or finding us on social media while you wait. Thanks for your patience during this extraordinary time!

I hope this is helpful, Suzanna, and your ticketing issue is quickly resolved so you can focus on more fun matters like, which attraction you will experience first or what snack will you enjoy first, churros? Popcorn? I know I’ll be having BOTH! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
