Can you upgrade a So Cal Resident 3 day pass to a Magic Key pass?

    Hi Adam, welcome to planDisney!

The Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket is a great choice. It's available for eligible Guests residing in ZIP codes 90000 to 935990. These tickets allow Guests to visit the Disneyland Resort parks for three days, weekdays only, and the tickets can be used on nonconsecutive days. In addition, the tickets expire on May 26, 2022, so all three days must be used by then. Also, Guests are required to provide proof of residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID.

But back to your main question, good news! You can upgrade your Southern California Resident Weekday Tickets to one of the Disneyland Resort Magic Keys! I recommend you visit the parks as planned, then at the end of the day of your last day at the parks, you can upgrade and transfer the cost of your tickets to a Magic Key Pass! You can also do this all within the Disneyland Mobile App, which makes it super easy and convenient. First open the Mobile App, go to your ticket by pressing the "+" sign at the top right, and select "Buy Passes". Make sure you do this by 11:59 p.m. on the last day of your visit!
