How do I upgrade an already Believe pass to an Inspire pass

    Hi JoNell,

Welcome to planDisney! You’re in good company here—I’m also thinking of upgrading my Inspire pass to a Believe pass. I could not miss out on all the fun for the 70th anniversary of Disneyland!

As Magic Key holders, we have to wait until our renewal window (currently up to 30 days prior to the pass expiration date) before we can renew and upgrade our passes. You can find the expiration date of your pass in the “Tickets and Passes” section of the Disneyland app. When you look underneath the barcode of your pass, you’ll see the expiration date.

Currently, Inspire, Believe, Enchant, and Imagine passes are available for renewal. The renewal window is subject to change, and passes or pass types may not be available at all times. If and when you upgrade, your new pass will have the same expiration date as the original pass. I hope nothing changes too much and we will be able to upgrade our passes when our window opens!

JoNell, have you taken advantage of your Magic Key holder benefits this month? Right now, pass holders can buy a special Magic Key-branded Stitch popcorn bucket (while supplies last). When you come back to the park with your bucket and pass, you can enjoy $2 refills through February 19, 2025. Be sure to head over to the Magic Key Terrace and enjoy this exclusive dining option for Magic Key holders. If you haven’t tried the Emperor's New Flatbread yet, I highly recommend it! It was delicious.

JoNell, I’m so excited for you to upgrade your pass! You’re about to unlock a whole new world with limited restrictions! If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.

    Catch ya in the parks!
