Hi there Heather,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question and am happy to hear you have some tickets to the Disneyland Resort ready to be used!
While wholly unused
theme park tickets do eventually expire - and there is no way to prolong that expiration date - you're still covered, so Hakuna Matata! Once those tickets expire, they still remain associated with your Disney account and can be applied toward the purchase of new theme park tickets that are equal to or greater in value than your expired tickets.
When you purchase your new theme park tickets, they'll come with a brand new expiration date! If you purchased new multi-day tickets today, they would be valid for use through January 12, 2026. One-day tickets would be valid through December 30, 2025.
When you're ready to do this, you'll need to
reach out to one of the helpful Cast Members at the Tickets line. They will be able to confirm the details of your specific situation and walk you through the next steps.
There are so many great reasons to visit the Happiest Place on Earth in 2024! While you continue to plan your next visit, make sure to stop by the
Disney Parks Blog for all the most recent updates of what's happening around the parks. Thanks again for your question, Heather!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
