The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler was a great race weekend and very popular with runDisney runners. The theme and course were so much fun and I love the ten-mile distance.
A major part of that race was running inside of
Disney's Hollywood Studios, home of
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. Currently, that park is undergoing major construction for the addition of two new "lands" ... Star Wars and Toy Story (YAY!). Logistically, it would be unrealistic to expect the race to return before the completion of construction. I do know that runDisney is constantly evaluating their race offerings to give the fans what they want and to provide a variety of race themes and distances.
I hope to see that race back, but my guess is it will be three to four years before it's even considered. But, you never know! Be sure to follow runDisney on
