Hi there, James, and welcome to planDisney!
In the words of my friend Winnie The Pooh, "Oh, bother!" I also hope to see
1900 Park Fare reopen at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. My family has yet to experience this gem of a restaurant that I hear rave reviews about. But I am happy to share some updates and alternatives with you.
Currently, there is no set reopening date for 1900 Park Fare. However, keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog because maybe we'll get an announcement when we least expect it. For example, last year, when I read the announcement about the return of character breakfast at Magic Kingdom Park's
The Crystal Palace, I was over the moon! By the way, The Crystal Palace is a fantastic alternative to not seeing Tigger and Winnie the Pooh at 1900 Park Fare. It is hands down in my top three list for character dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.
And if you want to see the other usuals from 1900 Park Fare's Supercalifragilistic Breakfast, you can spot Mary Poppins and the curious Alice roaming around the UK Pavilion at EPCOT. If your heart is set on visiting Cinderella and Prince Charming for dinner, then I recommend that you visit Cinderella at
Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park instead.
AN EXTRA GEM: In case you need to readjust your plans because 1900 Park Fare still hasn't reopened, remember, with most theme park tickets, you also need a
theme park reservation in order to make those in-park backup plans happen.
James, please don't hesitate to revisit us here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.
I'm all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
