Are there any updates in when the Disney Castle will be done with construction? We’re going April 29th and my daughter is so excited to see the castle!

Greetings, Raegan! I can’t wait for you and your family to Get Your Ears On! You won’t want to miss the all-new nighttime extravaganza, Mickey’s Mix Magic, and the return of Mickey’s Soundsational Parade!

I agree with your daughter that there’s something so magical about Sleeping Beauty Castle… and here at the Moms Panel, we’re anxiously awaiting the re-opening. I spoke with a Cast Member, and unfortunately, the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough is still scheduled for closure through the end of May. Of course, timelines can always change, so I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information.

In the meantime, your daughter is going to love checking out the beautiful Sleeping Beauty-inspired facades surrounding the Castle. On the back side, look for a façade featuring Prince Philip and Maleficent! Also, on the front-facing façade, catch a sneak peek at what the new-and-improved Castle will eventually look like.

This Castle refurbishment is part of Project Stardust, which includes a number of enhancements being made to the Disneyland Resort, and specifically to Disneyland Park, to maximize Guest comfort while improving Guest flow in anticipation of the May opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Wishing you magical adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
