Hi Sarah! Welcome back to planDisney.
Sounds like you will have an immersive Easter at
The World's Most Magical Celebration! Take a little time to board the
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation and visit
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to admire the chocolate egg creations of the talented pastry chefs! I may be a little bit biased here, but there is a Florida license plate that reads "Cindy50" which I think is a show stopper!
After your visit to the grand victorian property, head back on the monorail to head towards
Disney's Contemporary Resort to view even more stunning "eggspectacular" displays. I challenge you to find the five hidden five-legged goats in honor of Mary Blair's famous mural. I am hoping you have secured a hard-to-get
Advance Dining Reservation for Easter Brunch at one of my top three favorite Disney restaurants,
Steakhouse 71. I pulled up the
brunch menu, and yes, only four examples were given as "highlighted" items. I can assure you there will be many options. In fact, I would not be surprised if there are a few Easter Day-only specials. Of the four listed, I have devoured the famous Bacon & Eggs many times and the French Onion Soup is one of the best I have ever had hands down.
I encourage you to pay close attention to the "Tip Board" on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App for any special Easter activities or showtimes during your visit. No matter which theme parks you spend your day in, stay until the sun goes down and Disney icons come to shimmering EARidescent life during
Beacons of Magic.
Cinderella Castle, The Hollywood Tower Hotel,
Tree of Life, and
Spaceship Earth are featured with special projections and moving music! I adore this addition to my park day.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
